He also reveals his discussion with Ford vs Ferrari Director James Mangold, and then receives a LIVE CELL PHONE CALL about his proposed follow up script for Superbird, which details the real life story of Chrysler’s last ditch effort to save their racing program by designing the 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner which Richard Petty drove to victory, and which was subsequently banned from NASCAR for being such a superior car design for it competitive races that could not compete when the Roadrunner was on the track.
