In this episode, Donald Hoffman stops by to discuss the latest in the science of consciousness, how consciousness may indeed be fundamental to physics, and how the science around consciousness needs to improve to be able to prove just that.
Dr. Hoffman discusses how we, and all other living organisms, are wired NOT to see reality as it exists, and how the science of evolution actually pushes us away from understanding truth. He reveals that the mathematical probability that evolution pushes organisms toward seeing reality is precisely zero, and what that means for humanity moving forward.
